I'd love to get my hands on some good hookup wire for steppers, etc. With my new layout the existing stepper wires are juuuust too short, and I'd like to rewire them to be more properly laid out. I'm having trouble finding a good source for some flexible, stranded, shielded 4 or 5 conductor cable. I've seen a few sources for in-wall stuff for alarm systems and thermostats, but it doesn't look like it would handle continuous flexing very well.

Does anyone have a good source for this? I'd prefer to pick up a spool of it somewhere if I could find it. I've seen it for $1.50 per foot on Probotix's website but I'd like to get a spool of 50 or 100 feet, as I feel like I could get the price down that way.

I ended up getting 100 feet of this stuff:

If it sucks it's only $33 so it won't wipe me out. I'd still be interested in hearing what other people are using.

I've used this cable for my cnc router stepper motor cables: http://www.hobbycnc.com/products/spare-parts/
Ran it through some cable guides to limit the flexing without problems so far.
